- Strong inner-office relationships with management, co-workers, and customer service
personnel while working with Specialty Baker, Keen Transport, Samba Insurance, Syscom
Services, Kathpal Technologies, and individuals/group at the Washington Navy Yard.
- At Samba Insurance, was hired as a Computer Specialist/Help Desk Associate, and dealt
with troubleshooting management’s and customer service representatives’ workstation
issues. After creating web applications for company Bill Pay service, Insurance
Enrollment web site, and Medical Claims Lookup web system, was responsible for interacting
with members and the public via telephone, relating to walk-throughs on using the
web site, resetting passwords, and other pertinent issues.
- While working at the Washington Navy Yard, commonly connected with remote oil labs
to perform over-the-phone guidance regarding software installations and technical
assistance issues. Patience and cordiality was common exhibited, with some issues
requiring 2 to 3 hour troubleshooting sessions.
- Solidified experience in dealing with people during 15-year time frame (1991-2006)
while acting as liaison for community sports group on a weekly basis. Typically
handled problems in a polite and courteous manner.
- Organized and coordinated week-long international sporting event in the summer of
2014 in athletic competition between United States and Argentina all-star bowling
teams. Successfully bridged communication gap and handled situations and unforeseen
problems as they arose. Provided web and hardcopy updates in a timely manner during
the event.
