DESKTOP PUBLISHING
Desktop Publishing skill dates back to the early 1990s, with continuous production
of hardcopy literature up through the present.
- Created a mirror image of Specialty Bakers web site in booklet format for presentation
at board of directors meeting.
- Provided training materials in booklet format for customer service representatives
at Samba Insurance, enabling a clear and easy understanding of “Bill Pay” procedure
implemented as an added website feature for members.
- Produced 17 issues of quarterly publication, The North American Bowling News, from
2009-2013, including special edition in 2014. Collected info from numerous country-wide
and overseas sources. Aside from press releases. authored all content, and designed
covers for all 17 issues of magazine.
- Created 6 bi-monthly issues of 24-page, local sports-related publication to approximately
100 subscribers in 1997-1998
- Since 1996, provided weekly, comprehensive, statistical booklets and associated
web sites for local sports groups in the Washington metro and Tri-state areas. Booklets
and sites are produced from data input into a Visual Basic 6 record-keeping application.
As a reflection of accuracy along with reliable validation algorithms, an estimated
10 million keystrokes have been inputted in the weekly production of these products,
